Springtime Anew

Every year it rolls around just after Winter's last blast
The lovely time of year my friend that we want to last
It's Spring, It's Spring, wake up and see the budding trees around
The earth grows sweet with fruit and flowers, green grass upon the ground

The Lilac trees so fragrant with many blossoms in bloom
A nice bouquet neatly arranged will freshen any room
A little group of Tulips planted near an old Oak tree
Brings much joy and beauty my friend to you and me

Baby ducks upon the pond make small ripples in the water
Every now and then I see a little baby otter
Tiny birds just new born with their beaks opened wide
Waiting for the mother bird to put some food inside

Also baby squirrels in a nest high in the tree
Mother squirrel protects them so they may roam free
Springtime is full of new life from every shape and kind
Her beauty will always be fresh and sweet within my mind.

Gentle rain and dew drops help wash the earth so clean
It also brings fresh water to all the lakes and streams
It is a favorite time of year when every thing seems so new
Happy Springtime Everyone is this greeting from me to you
