Spring Bloom

Soft yellow petals
greet me in the morn.
The daffodil is bold;
for Spring it does adorn.

Shaft of mastered green
stand tall as I peer down.
Your strength reigns pure and true
as you wear a royal crown.

Gentle dew drop glisten
as you slide the leaf of life.
Your magic is the reason
this season bears no strife.

Renewal in your fairness;
majestic in full bloom.
The daffodil needs nothing
as there's nothing to assume.

A signal of the Spring
and life that starts anew.
The daffodil is part
of this glorious grand review.

With blossoms full and noble;
a masterpiece it seems.
The daffodil restores our faith
and reminds us of our dreams.
