Moments Of Spring

My thoughts of a long and arduous winter
have been erased, by the promise of spring,
Reflections of a season that revives all living things,
I can smell the blossoms as they slowly decorate the trees,
An air of excitement surrounds me like honey bees,
A time to sow and wait for the rewards,
a prelude to a season of flowering bulbs,
Spring memories causes me to sigh;
from the mere recollection of this moment in time,
It conjures up thoughts of picnics and blueberry pie,
Yes, Spring returns once again to restore hope,
It's definitely not a time to be gloomy, or sit around and mope.
