SpringSpring

Spring – one of four divisions of the year known as seasons and defined by the position of the earth in its orbit around the sun. On about March 21 and September 23, both the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere are the same distance from the sun and the sun is said to be at an equinox. The northern hemisphere’s vernal equinox occurs in March and marks the beginning of spring. In the southern hemisphere, the vernal equinox occurs in September. At the equinoxes, the sun appears to be directly over the earth’s equator. The lengths of day and night are then equal over almost all the earth. The season of spring last about 3 months, from around March 21 until June 21.

There are many activities associated with spring. The most popular is Gardening, the growing and caring for plants as an enjoyable leisure activity, to produce food, or to create beautiful landscapes with artfully arranged flowers, shrubs, and trees. Other activities include, the celebration of Festivals, the holiday Easter, and the popular sport Baseball.
