You Chose Me

You chose me
When I felt so average,
     So unimportant.
You disinfected my soul.

My black blood was sick,
But You chose me.
You injected Your gentleness into my veins.

I want to perfume Your feet with my hair,
But You kneel down to wash my soles.
How can I not worship You?
