  • Crystal Dawn (pen name), was born in 1974 in Portsmouth, Virginia. She currently lives in Norfolk, Virginia. She says she has been in a long term relationship. Her interests include: parks, beaches, art, independent movies, and poetry.

    Crystal began writing poetry when she was 9 yrs old. She has been published in The Gyre (1994), Poetry Superhighway (2005), and now has had her first poetry book, The Sensitive Callous, published and for sale. About poetry she says, "Poetry is a mixture of aesthetics, creativity, and intellect. The paper never judges me or offers advice. It just soaks in my innermost emotions."

    Crystal is also the creator of The Kaged Artists Community.
